In the 80s movie Angel Heart, actor Micky Rourke wears what looks to be a Rolex Bubbleback watch. Whilst we can’t be sure of this to absolute certainty, it does have many of the Bubbleback features and looks very similar around the case. This would make sense as the Bubbleback was much more popular during this time period. These days, it has fallen out of fashion.
In Angel Heart, Rourke plays the role of Harry Angel who is a private detective. Although most of the film is forgotten about these days, it was quite controversial at the time due to some of its sexual content.
