Camouflage watches have two main purposes depending on which setting you wear them in. The first is quite obvious. If you are hunting prey in a woodland area or doing any kind of outdoor activity that requires stealth, a camo watch is 100% necessary.
The other situation where you can often see a camo watch is day-to-day, simply for fashion purposes. Although camouflage clothes are not too popular in fashion, they were extremely in-demand during the early 2000s. A camo watch is not as loud or confrontational as a camo jacket and pants, but still looks good. If you’re wearing a camo watch for fashion purposes, you can decide between blue or green since you don’t actually need to blend into your surroundings.

About Camo Watches
As the main purpose of camouflage is to blend in with your environment, they are designed with the military and the outdoors as the primary focus. As a result of this, you will find that most camo timepieces are tactical watches with a variety of useful features such as a compass, altimeter, GPS, and anything else that the watchmaker deemed appropriate.
In addition to this, you will find that the majority of camo watches are also very rugged. Once again, this is due to their outdoor usage. This kind of watch needs to be waterproof and shockproof at the very least, since it is going to have a lot more risk of being damaged than a standard dress watch.
Therefore most of this industry is dominated by the two main players which are Casio G-Shock and Timex. These two brands are exceptionally well known for their toughness across a variety of different watch models. It’s not strange to see both Casio and Timex have multiple different designs in a camo skin.
The exception to this rule is modern day camo fashion watches. These timepieces are created simply to look good and often have both a camouflage dial and strap. Of course, these kinds of watches are not meant to be worn in the woodland and do not really offer anything practical. They are however somewhat of a mainstay within the world of watches.
The Best Camo Field Watches
G-Shock GD-120
It doesn’t need explaining just how tough G-Shock watches are. Anyone who has owned one, or wishes to watch various tests they have been put through on youtube will already know what they can survive.
It goes without saying then that the camo GD-120 is perfect for those who hunt in the outdoors or simply want something that will match their camo outfit. Wearing a regular watch can be a giveaway in a wooded area, but this G-Shock model easily blends in. Despite having a case size of 51mm, this watch is pretty much undetectable if you don’t use the light function.
As with all G-Shock watches, this model has a lot of useful features such as date settings, alarms, light and a stopwatch which can be used as and when needed.
In terms of value for money, this camo G-Shock is pretty good since it will last for such a long time. For under $150, you really can’t go wrong.
Timex Camo Expedition Mossy Oak
Without a doubt the best value for money camo watch on the market. The Timex Expedition series is a group of solid analog watches that almost all cost under $50. There is really nothing spectacular about the Timex Expedition, but it is cheap and will not let you down.
As the camo Expedition is built for the outdoors, you can rest assured that it is right at home in the middle of a forest. Timex have thought of everything with the Expedition since even if you’re in the darkest of nights, you can still just push the crown inwards and illuminate the dial with its simple yet reliable Indiglo feature.
Garmin Instinct Solar Camo
Not a typical smartwatch. The Garmin Instinct is a best seller for many reasons, one of which is that it is far tougher than almost everything else on the market.
The camo version of this watch comes with exactly the same features you get with the regular black version of the smartwatch such as GPS, ABC functions and a Heart rate monitor. As this watch is built to US military specifications, this means the watch can survive both extreme hot and cold temperatures – so is useful out in the field.
As you can see, the camo print used on the bezel and strap is slightly more modern than the regular old brown and green you would expect to see. This means that it is useful for blending into urban environments as well as wooded areas.
Nixon Regulus
The Nixon Regulus is a great alternative for those who want something which is equally as practical as a G-Shock watch, yet looks significantly more streamlined and attractive.
Nixon have both rugged tactical watches within their range, as well as fashionable timepieces. The Regulus actually sits somewhere in the middle of this with the camo Regulus being a key example of their diversity.
The watch has a variety of different functions and can be put into silent mode to make it both camouflaged to the eyes, as well as ears.
Perhaps most disappointingly is the fact that Nixon used a black bezel and buttons instead of making the case have a full camo skin.
Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster
A great choice for those who want a rugged analog camo watch. The Citizen Promaster series have been built far beyond the benchmark for solid analog watches and goes several steps further. As a watch that functions from an eco-drive movement, you never have to worry about the battery running out of power or the servicing needs of a mechanical movement.
Citizen use stainless steel which has been both ion plated as well as coated with Duratek to make sure that it does not scratch, rust, or discolor. The dial is also protected by sapphire crystal ensuring that the watch doesn’t take any unwanted marks to the glass.
As the dial and bezel are black, this blends in very well with the camo strap of the watch. As this watch is fashionable as well as practical, it can be worn in both casual settings, as well as the great outdoors.
Luminox SEA Diver
Luminox dive watches are used by navy SEALs, so it’s no real surprise that they made a camo variation of their most popular dive model.
Given that the purpose of a dive watch is to be able to see the dial clearly underwater, you may wonder why a camouflage pattern was chosen. However, as Luminox uses tritium tubes as hour indicators, these will glow whilst in complete darkness regardless of what pattern is behind them.
The watch dial is somewhat difficult to read when in regular daylight, but is a very solid and rugged watch. Luminox uses its own Carbonox compound to make the watch case, which is both sturdy and lightweight. Overall, this watch is a reasonable value for money considering it also uses a Swiss quartz movement.
The Best Fashion Camo Watches
Fashion camo watches are simply watches that were designed for fashionable purposes but use camo print. These are not rugged or tactical watches and should not be used for outdoor activities.
Michael Kors Camo Runway
If you didn’t already know, Michael Kors are an extremely popular fashion brand that mostly makes women’s handbags, as well as both men’s and women’s watches. The Runway watch is one of their most popular designs due to its modern oversized case (45mm) and busy dial.
In all honesty, the camo variation of the MK runway is one of the least popular, since it has to contend with both gold and stainless steel. However, the camo runway is surprisingly a little more subtle than both of these colors due to its dark color scheme.
MK watches are not terrible value for money, but not great either. With that being said, there really aren’t many other companies making full camo paint watches on both the case and straps of their watches.
Bell & Ross
As an entry level brand in to the world of luxury watches, Bell & Ross are beyond the budgets of the average working man.
In all honesty, given the price of this watch it is somewhat overpriced considering it uses a standard Swiss quartz movement. But as with every other luxury brand, you’re often paying for the large advertising budgets and marketing campaigns to get their designs noticed in the first place.
The redeeming factor about this watch is that it is made by one of the few luxury brands that actually dare to create camo watches.
Swatch
Unfortunately, there are not too many blue camo watches available to buy other than the typical Casio G-Shock.
Thankfully, Swatch have both a standard color and blue camouflage watch. These are both simple fashion timepieces in the design that Swatch has used since the 1980s. Much like other Swatch fashion watches, the materials used are silicon and plastic and are therefore very basic.
With that being said, this watch costs well under $100 and uses an ETA quartz movement, so still isn’t bad value for money regardless.
Invicta Speedway
When it comes to oversized budget watches, Invicta are really the king. No other company has such a wide variety to choose from in the sub $100 price range.
The Invicta Speedway camo is an unusual choice, to say the least. Perhaps most strangely, Invicta chose to use a golden crown and chronograph pushers, which would have likely looked a lot more better and consistent had they chosen black.
There is nothing wrong with this watch from a technical standpoint, as Invicta uses Miyota quartz movements, which aren’t the best but are both reliable and accurate. In short, this camo watch is a decent choice for the price.
