Nazi leader Adolf Hitler wore a vintage Reverso watch which was retrieved from his Berghof retreat after the second world war. In 2022, this watch received media attention when it was put up for sale at auction and fetched millions of dollars. As seen, it has the initials ‘AH’ on the back, as well as the Swastika and the Nazi eagle.
This style is similar to the JLC Reverso which remains popular to this day and was from the same era. Interestingly, Hitler was also given a Junghans pocket watch for his birthday. Moving back to the Reverso, apparently it was looted by a French soldier and has since become a valuable collector’s piece.
