Racial activist Malcolm X often wore a vintage Longines watch. This wasn’t just a fashion statement though, as Malcolm X was very passionate about the value of watches and time. Once he said “I have less patience with someone who doesn’t wear a watch than with anyone else, for this type is not time-conscious. In all our deeds, the proper value and respect for time determines success or failure.”
This watch has a black, speidal band, gold case, and dial with a small subdial towards the bottom of the face. You can just about make out the features of this watch when zooming in, including the Longines logo.
