Legendary Austrian Formula 1 race driver Niki Lauda was seen wearing a vintage Heuer Chronosplit watch whilst driving in his race car. For those that don’t know, Heuer is known these days as Tag Heuer and this watch has two LCD screens on the dial (hence the name). One shows the time, and the other can be used as a stopwatch which is handy as a race driver.
Although not certain, there’s a strong chance this was actually a Heuer Chronosplit Ferrari watch. This was a collaboration between the two brands at the time and Lauda raced for Ferrari for a few years during the 1970s so this would make sense.
