Former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill wore a gold Lemania watch whilst serving his country. Although now defunct after being purchased by Breguet, Lemania was once a popular, luxury Swiss brand.
Churchill was gifted this watch whilst visiting Switzerland back in 1946 and he wore it during his World War II campaign until death. However, in 2017, it was auctioned by his estate. As seen, it has a brown leather strap, gold dial, three subdials, and black markers. After selling for tens of thousands of dollars, someone now owns Winston Churchill’s favorite watch.
