David Bowman wears a Hamilton X-01 watch in the cult movie, 2001 A Space Odyssey. In this film, he is played by the actor Kier Dullea who is a spaceman traveling through the galaxy. This watch has quite a lot of history behind it, and was put into the film by the director Stanley Kubrick.
To look futuristic, Hamilton literally made the watch for the movie so it’s not surprising that it looks so space-like. As seen, it has a silver strap, circular dial, red button, and three timers on the bottom of the face. After the film, Hamilton actually released their own take on the watch, named the Odyssee which is meant to mimic the original timepiece.
