In the movie Moonraker, James Bond wears a Seiko M354 5019 watch. In true James Bond style, this isn’t a regular watch and features explosives which Bond eventually uses later on in the film. Throughout, Roger Moore also checks his wrist to look at the time which would obviously be important for a spy.
Interestingly, this watch featured a lot of promotion surrounding the film and was heavily marketed. Whilst it wasn’t the first Seiko to feature in a 007 movie, it did set the tone for a long-running relationship between the two.
