In the 1987 movie The Living Daylights, James Bond wears a Tag Heuer Professional watch. The reference number of this timepiece is 980.031 and it has quite a big impact on the plot. In one scene, Bond even wears it underwater. This is particularly important as it is a divers watch after all. During this scene, the lumed dial glows perfectly and looks really cool.
To date, this is the only Tag Heuer to have featured in a James Bond movie and since it’s been well over 30 years since The Living Daylights, it may be the only Tag ever. Nonetheless, it’s still pretty cool and shows that Tag Heuer’s are also well worthy of the Bond back story.
