Queen of Pop, Madonna was seen wearing a Takara Kronoform watch in a throwback picture to the 80s. Out of all the celebrity watches we’ve ever covered on Almostontime, this one has to be the most unique of them all. Basically, Takara was a Japanese toy company from the 80s and this watch was a transforming robot, just like the hit TV series, Transformers.

So, even though you’d associate Madonna with some kind of luxury watch – this wasn’t the case back in her younger days. This watch is quintessentially 80s and has a black rubber strap, silver case, and digital dial. It has all of the typical functions you’d expect with a watch but with a key difference.

This difference is the ability to transform into a robot with the hit of a button. Yes, you read that correctly. Although relatively scarce these days, the Takara Kronoform is still around if you look hard enough and can be purchased for under $100 on sites such as eBay. It originally retailed in the US for $10.94.
