In the classic Russian sci-fi movie Stalker, actor Nikolay Grinko wears a Vostok watch. This film is regarded as one of the greatest ever and was directed by Andrei Tarkovsky. A sad fact is that Tarkovsky died from cancer from filming Stalker which is shot in Chernobyl.
