In the hit Netflix TV show Stranger Things, Papa is seen wearing a Certina Club 2000 watch. Whilst this isn’t fully confirmed, it looks to be a very similar style at least. As seen, this watch has the same oval-shaped case as the Certina Club 2000 and sports a retro-looking dial. It also comes with a black strap but is available with a metal bracelet instead.
We can see this watch during a close-up in one of the scenes in series 4. It makes sense that it would be this watch too, seeing as it’s set in the mid-80s and this watch was released in the early 70s. Here, Papa is played by the veteran actor, Matthew Modine.
