Legendary Star Trek actor William Shatner was seen wearing two Omega Speedmaster watches on the same wrist. We’re not sure if this was for practical reasons or some sort of bizarre fashion statement. Nonetheless, to each their own.
The first Rolex that Shatner wore was an Omega Speedmaster Professional, whilst the other one was a Speedmaster X33 watch. Arguably, it’s quite ironic (and appropriate) to see Shatner wearing Speedmasters as they were the first watch worn on the moon (hence the nickname ‘Moonwatch’). This is because Shatner is best known for his Star Trek adventures in space. Aged 91, Shatner actually went into space and claimed he saw ‘death’ up there.
