Buying a military watch as a woman can be tough. Compared to men’s military watches, there is very little choice outside of a few major brands. The main reason for this is that the regular woman wants a feminine watch that isn’t going to see much outdoor action. However, not all women are born to be regular and many of them want something different.
In short, there are thousands of women’s watches that aren’t made in a military style. In addition to this, there are hundreds of men’s military watches.
Unfortunately, there is barely any crossover at all and there are very few women’s military watches. Other than the usual suspects such as Casio G-Shock and Timex models, it is fairly slim pickings for those who want this style.
The list below displays the best military watches for women found on the internet for an affordable price. Luxury watches have not been included since these are well above budget for the average woman.

The Best Military Watches For Women
Casio Baby-G
Both the Casio Baby-G and G-Shock series are known to be used by personnel of the US military. Whilst there isn’t a single watch model that is issued by the United States military, you can see why soldiers choose to buy G-Shocks with their own money.
Quite simply this is the toughest watch you can buy and has a great price to durability ratio. Considering that a G-Shock watch typically lasts over 10 years, you’re paying less than $10 per year for a watch that has a variety of useful functions and can withstand almost any impact.
Baby-G watches are available in a variety of colors, although the all black version suits a military style the most.
Swiss Military Hanowa
There is not too much military about the Swiss military hanowa brand, but they do license this name from the government of Switzerland.
In short, these watches look very stylish and are good value for money. They are made in Switzerland and use good materials such as sapphire crystal (not mineral glass) in order to protect the dial of the watch.
This is a good alternative for those who want a feminine watch in the style of the Rolex submariner.
Timex Ironman
A true military watch, although named the Ironman, this model is unisex and uses a 38mm case which is not too oversized at all. Proof of this is seen by Jocko Willink, who regularly posts pictures of his Timex Ironman on instagram.
Timex digital watches are a lot like Casio G-Shock models but are considerably cheaper. If you prefer the dial layout on a Timex watch then there is almost no reason to buy a Casio which costs more money.
The Ironman is super durable and makes use of practical functions such as a chronograph and several alarms.
Luminox
A watch brand synonymous with navy SEAL’s. Luminox watches are lightweight, durable, and easily visible underwater. You may not need all of these things, but being able to view your watch dial in a dark setting is useful even if you don’t require this feature.
As luminox uses tritium, this lume isn’t going to fade any time soon and doesn’t need to be charged by a light source. The case is made by carbonox which is a trademarked compound designed to be both light, whilst at the same time very sturdy.
Luminox watches are not the cheapest, but are made in Switzerland and finished to a high degree of quality. Overall, they certainly aren’t bad value for money.
Nixon Siren
Nixon does not make a lot of digital watches, but does have a small range available. The Siren is the feminine alternative to the men’s Nixon watch which is made with a military design. If you are after something a little more military than the Siren, then the Nixon is a better (but albeit bulkier) choice.
As you can see from the image, the dial is exceptionally easy to read with time, date, and month all very visible from a single glance.
The Siren is just as practical as a G-Shock watch and offers many of the same features. One drawback is that it costs a little more, although is much more fluidly designed and far less bulky.
Victorinox I.N.O.X
One of the most feminine military watches you can find. Victorinox are a brand with a rich military history and are the supplier of Swiss army knives to the Swiss army. The brand makes good quality watches which are also made in Switzerland to a high degree of quality.
It is unusual that you will find a military watch that is feminine, stylish and rugged. On the whole, you can usually pick two of these since it is difficult to design a watch with all 3 qualities.
The useful fabric paracord bracelet makes sure that the watch is secure on your wrist but also comfortable on both hot and cold days – something which a stainless steel bracelet lacks.
The Abingdon Co.
The Abingdon Co make watches only for women and are a little different from all of the other brands mentioned. They specialize in making watches for women who have professional jobs such as pilots and divers but are obviously a great fashion accessory too.
Abingdon also has a foundation that sponsors women who are choosing to study in STEM fields.
This watch is a classic pilot design and is somewhat oversized for a women’s watch. It has a GMT function so it is suitable for anyone who actually is a pilot, or simply if you want to keep track of a second timezone.
Abingdon watches are a little on the expensive side given the specifications, but your money is going to a good cause.
Wenger Field Watch
Not strictly a woman’s watch, this Wenger timepiece is suitable for both sexes. It has a very readable 42mm dial and is made by a brand that has a long relationship with the Swiss army and knives in particular.
This field watch is a little more practical than your average model since it makes use of a day-date function which is a rare inclusion. The nylon strap makes sure that the watch remains lightweight throughout and is practical for outdoor use.
Overall, this Wenger watch is pretty solid value for money, but nothing special. It has a Swiss quartz movement so is slightly higher spec than a standard Japanese-made watch.
